ACCA UK sustainability reporting awards deadline extension
The deadline for entering the ACCA UK Sustainability Reporting Awards has now been extended to Tuesday 31 July
18 Jul 2007
Any UK based reporting company, public or private and of any size (this can include individual country reports of a non UK based organisation) is eligible to enter these awards and can do so by filling in an application form and sending in 5 hard copies of the report (or details of the weblink, if it's an online publication).
Further information on how to do this, along with the downloadable application form, can be found on the ACCA UK website at www.accaglobal.com/uk/publicinterest/sustainability/uk_07archive/.
The ACCA Sustainability Reporting Awards have been running since 1990 in the UK and have since been rolled out across several countries around the world. Their aim is:
- to give recognition to those organisations which report and disclose environmental, social or full sustainability information
- to encourage the uptake of environmental, social and sustainability reporting, and
- to raise awareness of corporate transparency issues.
Organisations' reports are judged on their completeness, credibility and communication by an experienced, independent judging panel. The results of the awards will be presented at the annual ceremony in December 2007.
For further information on these awards, or any other sustainability projects the ACCA is involved in, please email Vicky McAllister at vicky.mcallister@accaglobal.com
