ACCA Hong Kong Donates HK$200,000 to Aid and Relief Mainland Earthquake Victims
ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) Hong Kong has diverted HK$200,000 from their Charitable Foundation and donated to the Hong Kong Red Cross in their relief operation to provide supplies and assistance to the earthquake victims in mainland China.
Morison Chan, President of ACCA Hong Kong said, "Apart from being a professional accountancy body, ACCA has been providing care and attention to the needy in the society. We uphold the responsibility to extend our helping hands to those who suffer from this severe disaster. We hope that not only can our donation provide immediate aids to those who are in need, but also arouse our members and public's attention to contribute and send our warmest care through the relief efforts."
ACCA Hong Kong wishes to express the deepest sympathy to the victims and their families, and to salute to all the staff and volunteers who have been working around the clock in the affected areas to restore normal livelihood.
