Prime Minister meets winners of ACCA-WWF Pakistan Environmental Reporting Awards 2005
The ACCA-WWF Pakistan Environmental Reporting Awards (PERA) were launched in 2001. In recent years the awards have demonstrated their growing influence as the scheme is endorsed by the Ministry of Environment and the Global Compact Foundation
The trophies are awarded in three categories namely:
- Best Multinational Company Report
- Best Local (Listed) Company Report
- Best Local (Unlisted) Company Report
The aims of the awards are to give recognition to those organisations which report and disclose environmental information, encourage the uptake of environmental reporting and to raise awareness in corporate transparency issues. At the core of the judging criteria are completeness, credibility and communication.
