Places available for Sussex business lecture
Places are available for ACCA’s (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) Sussex Members’ Network ‘Global Perspectives’ business lecture, which is taking place on Monday 30 June at the Arora International Hotel, Crawley. ACCA is the global body for professional accountants in the UK.
The event will include presentations by Allen Blewitt, chief executive of ACCA and Marc Koska, founder of Star Syringe. After reading an article in 1984 predicting the transmission of HIV through the re-use of medical needles and syringes, Marc spent the next few years on a mission. Seventeen years later the first K1 AD syringe was sold. He has also created the charity – SafePoint – which focuses on injection safety.
