An important part of ACCA’s institutional work is to contribute to the debate on technical issues affecting business and accountancy and to represent the interests of its members in relation to the legislation and professional standards that they have to comply with in their work.

As well as working directly with government departments and standard-setting bodies, ACCA campaigns, where appropriate, in partnership with many different organisations. We also participate in the work of the major professional and business organisations both in the UK and internationally.

Technical policy papers

Full details of ACCA's recent written submissions on technical policy and public interest matters, along with information on issues which are currently under review and details of how members can submit their own comments to ACCA on these issues, can be found here, along with other documents containing technical comment from ACCA.

Subject areas
