ACCA is a member of the European Union of Craft, Small and Medium Sized Companies (UEAPME).
- UEAPME is an employers organisation representing the interests of small businesses at European level. Its 69 membership organisations consist of national cross sectoral federations, European branch federations and other associate members who support the SME family.
- UEAPME represents more than 7 million who employ over 30 million people.
Through its membership of UEAPME, ACCA is also a member of NORMAPME. Based in Brussels, NORMAPME is supported and financed by the European Commission to represent the interests of SMEs in standardisation.
ACCA leads the SME activities of the Federation of European Accountants (FEE).
ACCA head of Small Business Issues, Professor Robin Jarvis, chairs the European Commissions expert group for Users of Financial Services (FIN-USE).
ACCA organised a large conference for SMEs in Poland in 2006.
